How it works

Paste your list, choose how many winners you need, and press Pick. Names can be on separate lines or separated by commas. When you pick more than one, nobody is chosen twice.

The picker shuffles the whole list using your browser's cryptographic random generator (the Fisher–Yates shuffle) and takes the first names. That means every name has an equal chance, and the result can't be predicted.

Running a fair giveaway

  • Export or copy your entrants (comments, emails, ticket numbers) into the box.
  • Leave Ignore duplicate names ticked so each person gets one entry, or untick it if extra entries are allowed.
  • Screen-record the draw or do it live, so entrants can see it's fair.
  • Pick a couple of backup winners in case someone doesn't reply.

Frequently asked questions

Is my list saved anywhere?

Can I pick numbers instead of names?
